Animation Bachelor Update + New Projects

Okay, so I’ve been wondering for a while how to post this, which do I talk about first? My animation degree or a new personal project I’m planning (and have started). Well I decided to start with my degree.

So hello everyone!

First off: my Bachelor in Animation. I am now in my fourth trimester and I have two classes, one of which is my first Production unit. I am required to post progress updates of all projects I do in this module on my blog, so you will be seeing some more of that soon. Another thing I am meant to do for this class is refining and developing my own skills, so I’m going do be working on my drawing skills, such as anatomy and character development. Leading of from this, I now have an excuse to continue a 100 theme challenge I started a while back where I restricted myself to one of my OC’s as to develop her character. So that’s what’s happening this trimester.

Now onto my own project, somewhat unrelated, but still somewhat relevant to my degree. I had this idea a few weeks ago to make a Hunger Games and Tales of Series crossover. So I did it basically. I used a Hunger Games generator to reap selected characters from the Tales of Series and then I just generated the events that happened and screencapped them.

Here is my reaping:

First I’ll be drawing just an image with all my tributes. Personally; I’m rooting for District 1 or 6 here. I will post the arena events when I get up to drawing them. Here is the progress of my first image:

To link you to their wiki pages, from left to right we have: Giselle Oslo, Jade Curtis, Zelos Wilder, Raine Sage, Rita Mordio, Yuri Lowell, Alfred Svent, Elize Lutus, Fylk Zadeya, Alisha Diphda, Uphim Welkps, Velvet Crowe, Leon Magnus, Ilene Remembrant, Reid Hershel, Farah Oersted, Cress Albane, Arche Klein, Saleh, Claire Bennett, Emil Castagnier, Marta Lualdi, Asbel Lhant and Pascal.

In future blog posts I will be using the names that are most said in-game, not their full names (or in the case of Seraphim/Malakim, true names). Comment below to tell me who your hoping to win.

That’s all I have for now, I will post again soon when I have more of the image above complete. See you all soon!

ARPG Character Raffle

A quick cut in from my blog posts to share this with my watchers!! The group, Ottokis, on DeviantArt is holding a Christmas Ottoki raffle:

Come join! It will be great to have more artists in the group.

But wait! What’s an Ottoki you ask?? Well this is an Ottoki:

Behold the Ottoki (well… my Ottoki, Lythia). They are otter fish. Lythia here is a Guppy Ottoki, but there are also Great White Ottokis and Dolphin Ottokis. They are really cute. My only current art of Lythia is this:

That’s all I have to say on this, back to my blog tasks. Hope to see you in the art group x3

Been Quite a While

Hello to everyone reading this post. It appears that I have a few things to apologise for.

First off – I must apologise for not pointing anything since July. I have been wanting to pos more, but I still feel inexperienced when it comes to blogging something that isn’t required for assignments. I will try to post something more soon, such as updates from my DeviantArt page or my account. That will most likely come sometime nearer to Christmas.

Secondly – I feel the need to apologise for not sharing my progress with my Animation course. This of course stems off me not posting anything, but I still feel the need to apologise for it none the less.

From these apologies, I will endure to post more on this blog and be more active with social media. It might take me a while to get back into social media as I have had bad experiences with it in the past, but if you want to drop me a note or comment on DeviantArt, a PM or review of my stories on, or tweet me on my new Twitter account I will make sure to respond to you as soon as I can.

To make up for 5 months of inactivity I shall share some of my recent activities on my DeviantArt and accounts.

On DeviantArt I have joined two roleplay groups, Ottokis and Wolves of Swyncoast, both of which revolve around art roleplay, though Wolves of Swyncoast is far more casual. I have also recently rearranged all the folders in my Gallery of my DA account, my most recent folder being called “Project: Mad Max Opening Revamp”, which doesn’t have anything in it at current though I will be posting stuff in it soon. It is a folder for all the assets that I am making for my Production 1 (ANI111) assessment, where in a group we have to take a famous movie and give it an opening credit sequence in the style of another movie. My group received Mad Max with our style being Any Human Heart. Below is my concept story board that I drew up and gave to my group leader for her opinion. The description for this image can be found here.

I have also opened up commissions on my DeviantArt profile, currently only dealing in points. Please feel free to check them out too.

c__ocean_wings_cover_by_aileen_rose-dadjqrj.pngWith my fanfiction, I have two stories which I am actively working on at current; Yuki no Hana, which is currently being updated on only, and Ocean Wings, which is currently exclusive to DeviantArt. I will be posting both stories on FF.N and DA eventually, but only after I have finished both. To the left is the cover which I commissioned for Ocean Wings, off the very talented Aileen-Rose.

With all this in mind I must now go prepare my next blog post – which is a task for my assessment. Please feel free to comment and tell me your thoughts. I might take to replying to anonymous reviews via this blog instead of at the start of my chapters on I hope you will all forgive my inactivity these past months. I shall endeavour to be more active.

Many thanks!

A Word From The Author

Hello to my followers and everyone else who stumbles across this blog!

I wanted to say thanks for reading my blog, and to the people who have followed me; thanks for doing so. Yes, I know five isn’t a big number for some, but it is for me. My first blog site that I made years ago, I didn’t really like, and I had no experience with blogging at all, whatsoever. When I was told to make this blog, I never expected it to get any views apart from my classmates in my uni course, let alone any followers. And I didn’t expect to enjoy blogging as much as I have.

I hope you’ll stick around as I post more stuff, half related to my animation course, and half just general fanworks that I have made, seeing the view count on my posts go up makes me happy, and seeing comments on my posts is amazing. Every view and comment makes this worth it. Thanks once again for viewing my blog!
